I am a seasoned pharmacist with over two decades of experience in community pharmacy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the then University of Durban Westville in 2000.

Throughout my career, I have held various pivotal roles as a Pharmacy Manager for several retail chains, where I had the pleasure of implementing strategic initiatives to enhance customer experience and optimise operational efficiency. I served as the KZN Regional Manager for the Medirite Group for five years, where I oversaw multiple pharmacy outlets, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and fostering a culture of excellence among the team.

In 2010 I further expanded my horizons by obtaining a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) degree, equipping myself with advanced management and strategic planning capabilities.

Driven by a passion for advancing the role of pharmacists in primary healthcare (PHC), I recently completed the Primary Care Drug Therapy (PCDT) qualification.

In my leisure time, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies, which include reading, exercise, and spending quality time with the family.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence I am passionate about transforming healthcare delivery and shaping a healthier and more vibrant future for South Africa. I currently practice as an Independent Pharmacy owner in the Durban South Area of the Bluff.
